In 2007, the United Way of Greater Los Angeles brought together foundations and corporations to create a partnership that would increase the impact of workforce development programs in Los Angeles County.

Today, the Los Angeles Workforce Funder Collaborative (LAWFC) is comprised of foundations, corporations, and public entities with unique funding priorities and a shared vision for positively impacting the quality of life of Los Angeles County residents. Together we have invested more than $1.6 million and affected the lives of more than 3,000 families.
